Our Purpose

Tulip City United SC was born in early 2019 from a shared vision among Holland residents: it was time for our vibrant city to have a soccer team to call its own. Driven by this passion, we established a non-profit organization to turn that dream into a reality.
As our community grew, so did our vision. In 2025, we asked ourselves, Why stop at one?  With that, our women’s team was launched, expanding our club's reach and ensuring more athletes have a platform to compete.

Our club combines two great loves: the love of our city and the love of The Beautiful Game. The Club's Board of Directors are passionate volunteers from among the Holland community. We are in this for the love of the sport and the pride of our hometown, giving our city something universal to rally around and fostering a unique game day experience.

Passion
There is so much to love about Holland and the beautiful game. We are dedicated to creating an inspiring environment that nurtures youth development, attracts diverse talent, and gives our community a powerful outlet for their energy. For us, success is measured both on and off the pitch. We strive to make every match day a vibrant, accessible celebration that welcomes neighbors from all walks of life.

Unity
Holland’s greatest strength is its rich cultural and socioeconomic diversity. Soccer is a universal language, the most popular sport on the planet, with a unique power to transcend social, economic, and cultural barriers. We are intentionally building a club where everyone belongs and feels represented. By bringing people together under a shared love for the game, we aim to bridge divides, foster deep mutual respect, and unite our city as one.

Growth
When a passionate community unites, the impact ripples outward. We want to invite those who haven't traditionally felt connected to local sports to join in the joy and excitement. By seeing local athletes compete with pride and integrity, the next generation will be inspired to dream bigger. With exceptional coaching, an inclusive culture, and a supportive fan base, we will continue to elevate the level of play and opportunity across West Michigan.
