In light of the spread of COVID-9 and because we love the community we seek to serve, we want to make sure that we take every measure to protect our fans, members, partners, sponsors and team members. We also want to be good stewards of the funds entrusted to us by sponsors, partners and members. We feel that we will lose that investment if we push forward just for the sake of the game. We did not form our nonprofit organization just to build a soccer team, but to bring ALL the people of Holland together, face-to-face, enjoying each other’s company over something in common. In light of all of these reasons, Tulip City United SC has decided to postpone our first season to 2021. By waiting, we feel our first season will be more successful, starting at a time when we as a community will want to be out, together, and making human connections like never before. We remain committed to support our community partners, sponsors, business partners and members through this difficult time.
